 A Pal For My Pet? How Does That Work?
When My
Pet Pals receives your completed
membership information (Brief Pet Introduction, Pet Profile,
and Pet Photograph):
- Your Brief Pet Introduction will be
included in the Member Listing.
- Your pet's Introduction will be assigned
and identified by a number as well as by your pet's name. You
may see your pet's Introduction and photo at any time by viewing the
My Pet Pal's Member Listing.
- Included in the Listing will be the
Introductions of new, current, and renewing pet members as well.
You will also be notified if any pet member requests temporary membership
suspension.
- This directory of Brief Pet Introductions
is updated weekly.
When Your Pet Finds An Introduction That Gets
His/Her Tail Wagging:
- Simply write
down the corresponding identification
number and name and e-mail your pet's request(s)
for a Pet Profile to My Pet Pals.
- We will e-mail your pet the Pet Profile
he/she is interested in.
- If your pet would like to correspond
with a pet of his/her choice, e-mail My Pet Pals his/her letter and we will then e-mail it on
to that selected special pet as we do not give out the e-mail
addresses of our pet members.
- A My
Pet Pals membership is FREE.
It is not necessary to fill out a new
Brief Pet Introduction or Pet Profile when renewing your membership
unless you would like to do so. You must notify My Pet Pals
via e-mail if your pet wishes to temporarily stop his/her membership.
Your pet may purchase any number of
great gifts by visiting our My
Pet Pals Boutique. There your
pet will find an assortment of uniquely different gifts that
he/she can purchase for his/her special pal. All occasion pet
gifts, pet birthday gifts, anniversary gifts, "I'm thinking
about you" gifts, as well as items specific to pet health,
etc. Have your pet browse the boutique for some great gift giving
ideas! New products are always being added!
It's

Pet Pals Member:
If you would like your pet to become
a My Pet Pals member:
- Complete
the Brief Pet Introduction as well as the Pet
Profile listed below.
- Click
on the "Send us your pet's
information" button.
- Scan
(or snail mail us) a favorite photograph of your pet (unfortunately, snail mailed photos
will not be returned).
- E-mail
your pet's photo
to My Pet Pals.
- Make sure to print out a copy of the Brief
Pet Introduction and Pet Profile
as a reference in the event that you wish to update or make changes
to the information during the course of your membership.
The
Brief Pet Introduction (Make Your Pet Stand Out From The Rest!):
In the spaces provided below:
- Complete
the Brief Pet Introduction (35 words or less).
- Be sure to include such things as your
pet's breed, color, gender, age and one or two favorite things
that your pet likes to do. Or you may just want to include a
special item of interest about your pet.
- We reserve the right to edit any Introduction
that exceeds the 35 word limit. We do not count the opening phrase "My
Brief Pet Introduction is as follows" as part of the 35
word limit.
- Please retain a print out of this Introduction
as a reference in case you want to change the information at
some point. This Brief Pet Introduction is the only information
(besides a photo) that other members will see regarding your
pet so make it good. The determination whether or not a member
will ask for additional information about your pet or to become
your pet's pal is based on the appeal of the Brief Pet Introduction.
The
Pet Profile (The Dogs Are Howling Now!)
In the spaces provided below, complete
the Pet Profile. This is what the
members who request additional information about your pet will
see. Be concise yet provide enough
information to allow other members to get a good idea about what
your pet is like. Only the information contained in the Pet Profile
will be released to other My
Pet Pals members upon their
request.
