Pet Massage

If there is one thing that brings people and their pets together it is touch. Gently touching your pet makes them feel good, and people feel good doing it. Animals like the stroking and come to us to get it. To lie on a soft blanket or a warm bed and have one's fur lovingly caressed, is one of the dog or cat's greatest pleasures.

Touch is very basic to the bond between animals and people. It is not surprising, therefore, that touch can be a powerful technique for healing.

Dogs and cats receive the same benefits from massage that we humans do. Massage and
touch are used in specific ways for specific healing. Touch deprivation can do a great deal of harm to both humans and animals. Therefore, including touch for healing to daily rubbing, stroking, and petting is intensely beneficial to both participants.

A regular and continued use of massage and
touch strengthens the bond of love and friendship that already exists between you and your pet. The more energy and time that you put into strengthening this bond, the better your returns. You will be rewarded with a pet that is much more happy, healthy, content, playful, alert, intelligent, responsive, protective, and loving. To bring about these results, a once-in-a-while pat on the head is simply not enough. Regular and continued massaging and loving touch is essential.

At this point, you may be wondering, "How can I give my pet a powerful healing massage?". Great question...
